Emirates Airline Festival of Literature 2012

On 06 March 2012, Dubai Vocal Ensemble was invited by The Fridge Dubai to be part of the opening ceremony of The Fourth Annual Emirates Airline Festival of Literature. The group who performed Ilay Gandangan, a song from the Southern part of the Philippines, was dressed in an ethnic costume to represent their home country.

As Long As I Have Music

On 24 November 2011, the Christian Voices Chorale celebrated the feast of St. Cecilia, the Patron Saint of Music with the concert “As Long As I Have Music”.

Held at the Main Hall of St.Mary’s Church Dubai, the Concert was well attended by the Parishioners & Music lovers alike. Christian Voices Chorale, rendered some well composed Hymns & songs accompanied by Captivating music score.

The Christian Voices Chorale & the El Shaddai Choir sang during this Concert.

The 8th Fridge Concert Series

Last 31st of October 2011, the Dubai Vocal Ensemble joined The Fridge for their 8th Concert Series. The Fridge is Dubai’s leading artist and entertainment booking agency, The Fridge is renowned for spearheading many of the city’s most high-profile events from conception, to artistic direction and production, and is widely known for its growing portfolio of eclectic, talented musicians.

For the group’s performance at The Fridge DVE performed a number of rousing traditional Filipino folk songs alongside well known choral works, ballads, pop and world folk  complete with props and choreographed movements.
